History of PI.LU.VIA.
From 1970 to today
PI.LU.VIA. has passed the age of 50 and continues to work aiming to guarantee quality and customer satisfaction. Today it is a leading company in the sector of the production of cutting tools for sheet metal, in metal stamping, in the production of metal molds.
PI.LU.VIA was born, as a company for the design and construction of molds for cold sheet metal deformation.
1970The company changes its headquarters. Enlarge the available spaces and introduce the molding division as a new and integral part of the business.
1976The company grows. The new company premises are built in Sant'Ilario d'Enza (Reggio Emilia). It goes from 200 to 1200 square meters, thus opening the doors to great development prospects.
1981Research and improvement are the basis of PI.LU.VIA. The molding division and the mold division are retooled with technologically innovative machines, including wire / plunge EDM.
1993 is also the year in which Pi.LU.VIA collaborates with important world-wide realities in the household appliance sector.
1993Expansion of company horizons. With the takeover of BVL, our company adds the automotive sector to the treasure trove of its experience. The company premises are further expanded to reach 2800 covered square meters.
1997The year of great changes. The premises are becoming increasingly large and the introduction of the new management system helps the computerization of production, thus improving the quality control function. At the level of the mold division, the latest generation CAD / CAM has been included for the design.
2002The molding division grows further. The 400TN hydraulic press is included in the machine park. The press fleet thus counts nineteen units.
2008The efforts of years of hard work are crowned. The TÜV body assigns us the Quality System Certification according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard.
